The walk to school project Kent and Medway Walking Bus Group offers three packages to ease this problem: Walking Buses, Green Footsteps and Walk on Wednesday schemes. To varying degrees all improve the health of the children using them, teach vital road safety skills, saves parents' time and reduce traffic congestion and pollution in the streets around the school. This website explains how the services work, how you can get involved at school or parent level, and the benefits of becoming a sponsor.
