Did you used to enjoy playing rounders at school but haven't done so since? The Sports Development Team in partnership with England Rounders will be running fun, friendly sessions suitable for beginners or those who haven't played for a while. Taking place every Thursday from 5th May, 6.30pm-7.30pm at Beverley Meadow, cost is £2 per session. No need to book-just turn up! Sailing Academy Open Days

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone aged between 18 and 25 who wants to have a go at sailing but has never really had the chance. Come along to one of the Sailing Open Days at the Royal Temple Yacht Club in Ramsgate on 21st May and 16th July. Click the link for further details:

Fit as a Fiddle! Free dancing for over 50's in Ashford

  • An introduction to a wide range of wonderful dance styles: from 17th Century Jane Austen style dances to 21st Century Ceilidh Dances, including American Contra Dance, English Barn Dance, Contra Waltzing and the Polka!

  • Great low impact exercise!

  • No experience or partner required!

  • Have fun, get fitter and meet new people!

 Every Thursday afternoon from 2:00pm to 3:30pm from April 7th to May 26th.

  • Under 50s are also welcome at £3.00 per session.

  • This is a partnership project between Contrafusion, SEFAN, The Ashford Leisure Trust and AgeUK and is financially supported by The Big Lottery Fund. Thanks to their funding this project is completely free to participants over 50.
