Let’s dance with Change4Life

C4L - orange solo 1

Dancing for 30 minutes burns 259 calories and is impossible to do without smiling!

Simply being up, about and moving burns calories and helps fend off diseases like type 2 diabetes, heart disease and cancer.

All forms of dance will burn calories. An hour of aerobic, ballet, hip hop or modern for a 115lb (11 stone) person will burn 422 calories.

The less aerobic the dance, the less you burn; however, its also great for flexibility, co-ordination and muscle strength, so helps you tone up from top to toe.

  • Dance alone in your bedroom whilst nobody is watching
