Free Swimming in Thanet!

Thanet's Big Splash 2 is a free swimming initiative for 60's and over and 16's and under. This offer closes 31st August 2010 so don't delay, join here today!

 Ride the Viking Trail - family bike ride

Get on your bike and join us on Sunday 12th September at 10 AM outside Westgate on Sea Train Station for a free of charge, coastal bike ride for all the family; starting from Westgate on Sea train station to Reculver, stopping for a 30 minute break, and then back again, finishing at 1PM approx.  (You may wish to bring some pocket money with you to buy some refreshments.)  Places are limited.  To book a place, email  nathan.hazledene@kent.gov.uk or clivecopeland@britishcycling.org.uk

Kent's Coastal Week 2010

Kent’s Coastal Week 2010 will run from Saturday 23 to Sunday 31 October.  It is coordinated by Kent County Council and takes place every October half term, with something to appeal to all ages and interests. Activities are either free or subsidised, booking is not always required.  Please click here for more details!
